FAQs

What is executive coaching, and how is it different from therapy or mentoring?

1

Coaching is a forward-focused conversation. We work from where you are now towards where you want to be, using your own strengths and insight as the starting point. It's not therapy, which focuses on healing the past. And it's not mentoring, where someone shares their experience and tells you what to do. Coaching is about helping you find your own answers, with a skilled partner in your corner.

Is coaching right for me?

2

If you're a woman or a person of colour navigating ambition, identity, or a career crossroads, you're exactly who this practice is built for. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from coaching. Many clients come because they're ready to move forward and want thinking space and accountability to do it well.

What does a coaching engagement look like?

3

Every engagement is tailored to you. We'll start with a chemistry call to make sure we're a good fit, then agree a structure that works for your goals and schedule. Sessions are one-to-one, held online, and typically 60 minutes. The pace and focus are yours to set.

What can I expect to change?

5

That depends on what you bring. Clients often report greater clarity, stronger confidence in high-stakes moments, and a shift in how they see their own potential. The work is real, and it takes honest reflection. The results tend to be lasting.

How long does coaching take?

4

There's no fixed answer, but most clients work with me across three to six months. Some come with a specific goal and a shorter timeline. Others want ongoing support through a longer transition. We'll talk this through before you commit to anything.
