About
Lou Nylander Coach | Founder | Career catalyst
I spent 20 years building a career in some of the most fast-moving corners of the marketing and media industry. Global brands, high-pressure environments, brilliant teams. And along the way, I noticed something.
The most capable people weren't always the ones who got ahead. Women, people of colour, people who didn't fit the traditional mould of leadership. They were often the hardest working people in the room, and the least recognised for it.
That observation became a conviction. And that conviction became wild for purpose.
My background
I've held senior marketing leadership roles at some of the biggest names in digital advertising, including Unruly, PubMatic, and AOL UK. I founded Wildflowers of London in 2016, a professional collective now 900 members strong, which won Community Business of the Year at the London Chamber of Commerce Awards in 2025.
I trained as a coach through Optimus Coach Academy, completing my ICF-accredited Associate Diploma in 2026. But the real foundation of my coaching practice is lived experience: knowing what it feels like to navigate complex organisations, to back yourself when others don't, and to build something meaningful from scratch.
I coach because I believe every person has the capacity to bloom.
